It was a pleasure to host over 30 National Association of Women in Construction NZ – NAWIC (NAWIC) Auckland members on our North Shore Hospital, Tōtara Haumaru site – which when complete, will be a new circa 19,700m² gross floor area (GFA) 4-storey building accommodating a surgical suite, endoscopy suite and inpatient wards.

First up, Project Director, Phillip Helleur welcomed everyone to site and provided a project overview, it was then over to Project Manager, AJ Spicer who took everyone on a site walk, ending with our Commercial Manager, Marie Almandoz (pictured below) who talked about her time working as a female in construction and shared her career story so far!

As a premium sponsor, it was a great chance to see such a good turnout, especially on a particularly rainy Auckland day.
