Clive has been with Hawkins for 19 years. As Auckland New Business Manager he has been responsible for securing the majority of our key projects in the region. 

In 2019 he was promoted to GM Business Development and now oversees our new business opportunities around the country.

Clive has 30 years’ experience in construction and civil engineering. He began his career as a civil engineer in South Africa before emigrating to New Zealand in 1988 and joining a specialist civil engineering firm. In 1992 he assisted in setting up a specialist civil engineering company in Singapore before returning to New Zealand in 1994 to pursue a career path in business management. He joined Hawkins in 2000.

Clive’s leadership style is collaborative and approachable. He gives generously of his time, freely shares his knowledge and genuinely connects with people.

Qualified with an MBA, H.Dip Eng (Civil) he is also a member of Engineering NZ and the NZ Institute of Building.
